Circula por la red un rumor segun el cual en octubre podria ver la luz el primer terminal móvil que llevaría Android, el SO de Google para móviles. La marca escogida por Google es HTC, y ya circulan videos de demos en YouTube.

Google Insight Search

Google acaba de lanzar Google Insight Search, una nueva herramienta que pretende ofrecer a los anunciantes y generadores de contenidos un único interfaz para consultar esta información cómodamente. Así por ejemplo, si buscamos ‘juegos olimpicos’ en este nuevo servicio, además de los datos propios de ‘Google Trends’ de popularidad de búsquedas (segmentada incluso por regiones), podemos ver “búsquedas relacionadas” y “búsquedas que están subiendo” con cifras muy similares a las de la herramienta de AdWords para palabras clave. Con estos datos, podremos modificar o ampliar bien nuestras campañas publicitarias o bien los contenidos de nuestras páginas web, puesto que son datos provenientes de lo que los usuarios han buscado realmente en Google.

También podemos tener acceso a mayor información, si segmentamos aún más los resultados, mediante la selección de una determinada región y subregión del mundo (por ejemplo, comportamiento d los usuarios solamente en México DF), un determinado periodo temporal (por ejemplo, resultados solamente de este año) o una determinada temática (por ejemplo, analizar el comportamiento de la búsqueda ‘apple’ pero solamente relacionada con información alimentaria, y no con el mundo de la tecnología). Esta última opción no estaba incluida en anteriores herramientas, y además no está disponible si segmentamos los resultados a países como España.

Incluso podemos unir dos búsquedas distintas y obtener su popularidad conjunta. Por ejemplo, si buscamos ‘wine+vino’ frente a ‘champagne+cava’, podremos comparar el éxito en búsquedas de los vinos espumosos frente a los que no lo son.
